Drem is located approximately 20 miles east of Edinburgh, close to both North Berwick and Haddington, with easy access via road or rail.
Located directly opposite the driveway to Drem Farmhouse is Drem station with regular services to and from Edinburgh (usually every hour, but more frequent at peak times). The train takes 25 minutes to get to Edinburgh and 5 minutes to North Berwick.
Getting to Drem by road is most easily done via the A1, either coming east from Edinburgh or from The South leave the A1 at the easterly Haddington exit and follow the small road over the Garleton Hills towards Drem turning right when you get to the railway line. A more scenic route can be taken, from Edinburgh, along the coast on either the A 198 or B 1348. Coming along the coast the A 6137 & B 1377 can be taken from Aberlady to Drem or the B 1345 from Dirleton.
